i must say time really passed real quick. in a flash, it's the end of the term alr. and we're no longer newbies to the school alr.and i haven really found time to do my work, not to even mention post, ya, that explains the un-frequent posts. k i guess i shall start with what happend today, then back to what happened this wk.today was the release of A lvls. i went to the hall for a small peek, and it kinda reminded me of the day o lvls were released. it's like i really dunno what to target for anymore, i'm just so afraid of failing expectations and not meeting targets set. but of course, who doesnt want straight As, well, the thing is whether i'm up to it. i thought i was up to it back then, but still, it didnt turn out just like what i'd expected. and moreover, it's A lvls and i'm alr having a lil difficulty trying to cope, passing is alr a feat, let alone Ace it. this is worrying.sad to say, i guess this whole o lvl thing hasnt sunk in enough yet, still getting haunt by it now and then. especially ytd, during sportsxcel interview, they specially mentioned my o lvl results, and that i would hv to work a lil harder than the rest, but the thing is, my english grade pulled down my overall and then i explained to them how i was surprised and how unexpected it was and all. and also, during project work grouping, each of us had to write down our english grade and they're gonna grp according to that as well, k the nxt part might sound a lil bad, but it's like i looked around and i think my command of the language is definitely better than some of them, but yet they had got better grades, it's like i dun think the grade is actually a gd gauge. but on the other hand, apart from using the grade, they dun really hv any other way of filtering us into different category alr. my whole point is simply that i think o lvl results is mattering a lot now and especially english. gd english grade is like a key requirement for most things, like scholarship or whatsoever. yes, thats y i'm not exactly feeling gd bout it.k here it comes again,MOVE ON GR.i guess this's like the 598309th time i'm saying that alr. but still.. nvm. i'm not being emo anw. and hv much better things to do.anw, my class had dodgeball this wk, it's a house function and i think our class did well, almost made it to the semi finals, they played with trinity's class and i must say trinity's class really very um violent, they hv a cricket player in their team. LOL. and his shots nv missed and it cant even be seen, not to say dodge. yup, then there were lots of quarrels and all coz of the difficulty to judge if players hv been hit. anw our senior cg were really nice, they supported us and even helped us to argue with the opponent. lol. but nevertheless they did well !oh and i finally passed a test, it's chem ! and i got quite high too .22/25, was highest in class till ck had 1 mark added. yea, but nevertheless i'm glad alr. the test wasnt hard at all, just that lots of them had careless mistakes. oh, however, i only manage to scrape a pass for chi, 53.5 wasnt too happy bout it. i haven been speaking much chi since i came into the school, who says TJ's very chinese ! it's not at all ! now i even hv problem conversing/writing essays in chi coz it's kinda hard to switch the mind btw the 2 language when thinking. so i always end up direct translating word from eng to chi in my essay, which made it incoherent. i guess i'll hv to brush up a lil bit more !KL trip has been postponed and i guess thids march holiday would be nth but hw, i mean there would be time for rest, but i mustnt neglect my work too, really hv to catchup on my work and yea, i'm different from the rest, i dun hv as much free time yea.oh and sports ppl got their common sport shirt on wednesday, with their sports' name printed at the front, i thought it looked quite cool. anw, i heard from yahan that bay said me and yahan got in sportsxcel alr. yea.actually i dun mind joining housecomm too, since i alr know so many ppl in beta housecomm, but i guess now i wouldnt hv enough time alr, nvm, we'll take a step at a time. i guess i'll just stop here. nth much to post bout too. um actually it shld be the other way round, too much stuff to post bout that i dun even know what to put down ! haha! oh and theres a sleepover at bird's place during the hols. ^^oh anw, thru this days in tj, i've really leant how impression matters a lot. tho it doesnt really bother me, i'll just be me, rather than go try being mr. popular.and i've realised how ugly ppl can be sometimes, i hope all these are just nonsensical fooling around and they arent what they really are! well, sometimes, just try putting yourself in his shoes, it doesnt feel gd, at all. but still, i must admit it's a lil intolerable at times. and bout what he did.k, done. cya.GuoRong posted by GuoRong Saturday, March 08, 2008 . . .
