i'm tired, but i thought i shld post something.cny in msia was not too bad. my cousin's house changed a lot, afterall we hadnt been back for 2 years so to us, the change was quite significant. it was great catching up with cousins, and it was really a reunion dinner/cny. we had like almost 20 people in the house, and it has been this way for more than um at least 12 years. since i was born, this had been going on, so it's really quite cool.and every year we will go back to the village that our parents/grandparents lived in before they moved to the more urbanised part (kuantan). it's not exactly a village la, it's like a small area in some more rural part of msia. so, some of our relatives still stay there, like my great grandmother who's 95 going on 96 this year. she's still strong and healthy luh, from all the chores and work. (y) but she barely knows my generation luh, she has like a lot a lot of descendants. like more than 40 i think.so anw, whenever we go back, we dont really hv much to do apart from sightseeing and watching the people gamble, so we'll sit around and listen to the stories the adults say though most of the time we dont know who the people the adults are mentioning, are. it's quite interesting though.so anw, thursday in school was alright, and today, i slept more last night, but was still super tired in school today. friendly with alumni didnt go well for me, i didnt play well and it was quite frustrating because all the hard work put in, simply doesnt pay off and it gets worse when u see other people who do not do as much, play better.then again, i still feel that we have a lot more to work on, and i really cant do nothing, alone.anw, it was farewell for mr chong today. skit went alright although there were some hiccups and we werent very prepared. but i felt that it was cool, considering how the amount of time we had to prepare. all the previous batches from 03/04 came back. and it was pretty heartwarming.and thanks auntie sarah, for asking on me, checking if i'm doing fine. if u happen to see this, ' that was really nice of you :) i'm alright k, u take care and come back often to visit us!it's been a long wk (not literally), but thanks for the candy and company and the many other wonderful things.orientation's next wk, and ogl briefing early tmr morning. night. posted by GuoRong Saturday, January 31, 2009 . . .
